IKEv2 · R‑VPN · macOS

Step 1

1. Adding a connection

IKEv2 is built into macOS. Open “System Settings” → “VPN” and press “Add VPN Configuration” → “IKEv2”.

Step 2

2. Entering connection detail

Fill in the fields: “Display Name” — any clear name, “Server Address” and “Remote ID” — the server address from the IKEv2 list in the dashboard (the same in both fields), leave “Local ID” empty. Under Authentication choose the “Username” type, enter the login and password from the “Connection details” block and press “Create”.

Step 3

3. Connection

Flip the switch on the configuration you created — the status changes to “Connected”. For several countries create several configurations: switching between them happens right in this list.

To avoid picking servers blindly, use our Radar service — radar.rvpn.online: it shows which servers are up right now and how fast they respond (sign in with your VPN login and password).
