IKEv2 · R‑VPN · Windows

Step 1

1. Network settings

IKEv2 is built into Windows, nothing needs installing. Click the network icon in the taskbar and open “Network & Internet settings”.

Step 2

2. Adding a connection

In the “VPN” section press “Add a VPN connection”.

Step 3

3. Entering connection detail

Fill in the form: provider “Windows (built-in)”, any clear connection name, the server address from the IKEv2 list in the dashboard, VPN type “IKEv2” and sign-in type “User name and password”. Take the login and the password from the “Connection details” block and save.

Step 4

4. Connection

Select the connection you created in the VPN list and press “Connect”. Add a few servers from the dashboard list this way so there are fallbacks.

To avoid picking servers blindly, use our Radar service — radar.rvpn.online: it shows which servers are up right now and how fast they respond (sign in with your VPN login and password).

If something does not work out, message our online consultant — the turquoise rocket icon in the bottom-right corner. We will help you and answer your questions.
