L2TP R‑VPN Windows

Download the SoftEther VPN Client app from our website. The same button is in your dashboard: the “Useful links” block at the bottom of the page, Windows section, SoftEther row. If the link does not open, use the mirrors next to it.

Unzip the file using any ZIP archiver. Inside, you'll find the installation file, the Anydesk remote desktop program, and a configuration folder.

Install the VPN CLIENT.exe app. Leave all installation settings at their default values. Simply click "Next" and continue to the end of the installation. Once the installation is complete, launch the program.

Open the Config Files folder. Run each file from top to bottom in order. They will open with the Softether VPN Client you just installed and appear in the connection list. They are already configured; all you need to do is establish a connection.

Connect to the server by right-clicking and then Connect, or simply double-click on the server name line.

Carefully copy the Username and Password from your control panel. There should be no spaces at the beginning or end of the username and password. For your convenience, simply click on the username, and it will be copied immediately, then paste this information into the connection. Leave the Auth Type as is; nothing else is required in this window except the username and password. Then click OK, and the connection will be established. You only need to enter this information once, the first time you connect.

All servers on this list are operational. If you see a "Server unavailable" message when trying to connect, your access has been blocked by your regulator. You should try a different server.

Remember that internet blocking is not static!

Once you've found at least 5 available servers, save these connections and switch between them as needed. If a server becomes unavailable, go through the list again. Some services previously blocked for you may become available again at some point.

Your connection is established. Now you no longer need to enter your username and password. You can simply select a server from the list, double-click it, and the connection will be established immediately.

To disconnect, right-click on the connected server and then click Disconnect from the menu.
