OpenVPN · R‑VPN · iOS

Step 1

1. Download

Install OpenVPN Connect from the App Store. If it does not show up, the app is restricted in your region — you will need an Apple ID from another country.

Step 2

2. Download config files

The dashboard has a “Download OpenVPN Certificate” block with the servers grouped by region. Open a region with its arrow and click the server you need — an .ovpn configuration file downloads. The login and password for the connection are on the same page, in the “Connection details” block.

Step 3

3. Configuration import

Open the downloaded .ovpn file and choose OpenVPN in the share menu — the file opens in the app.

Step 4

4. Configuration import

In OpenVPN Connect the new profile shows up on the “FILE” tab — press “ADD”.

Step 5

5. Enter data from the website

Enter the Username and Password from the “Connection details” block in the dashboard, tick “Save password” and confirm the import.

Step 6

6. Connection

Flip the switch on the profile: iOS asks to allow adding a VPN configuration, after which the status changes to CONNECTED and traffic statistics start.

To avoid picking servers blindly, use our Radar service — radar.rvpn.online: it shows which servers are up right now and how fast they respond (sign in with your VPN login and password).
