Shadowsocks · R‑VPN · Android

Step 1

1. Download

Install the Shadowsocks app: find it in Google Play or download the APK from the “Download Shadowsocks (APK)” link under Android in the “Useful links” block of your dashboard.

Step 2

2. Download config files

Press the “QR-Code” button on an activated server — a window with the configuration code opens. That is what the app will read, so keep the window open for now.

Step 3

3. Configuration import

In the app tap “+” in the top-right corner and choose “Scan QR code”. Point the camera at the code shown in the dashboard on the computer screen — the profile appears in the list.

Step 4

4. Connection

Pick a profile in the list and press the round button in the bottom-right corner. Android asks once for VPN permission — confirm it; a “Connected” line and a traffic counter appear at the bottom. Add several servers so countries can be switched right in the app.

To avoid picking servers blindly, use our Radar service — radar.rvpn.online: it shows which servers are up right now and how fast they respond (sign in with your VPN login and password).

If something does not work out, message our online consultant — the turquoise rocket icon in the bottom-right corner. We will help you and answer your questions.
