WireGuard · R‑VPN · Android

Step 1

1. Download

Install the WireGuard app from Google Play. If the store is unavailable, the “Useful links” block in your dashboard has a “Download WireGuard (APK)” button under Android — when installing the APK, Android asks to allow installation from this source.

Step 2

2. Select country

In the dashboard open the “Connect to server” block, expand the region you need and press “Connect” under a country flag — the server is activated and moves to “Current connections”. Activate several servers at once: switching between ready tunnels is faster than coming back to the dashboard.

Step 3

3. Download config files

An activated server has “Config file” and “QR-Code” buttons. A phone needs the QR: open the dashboard on a computer and press “QR-Code” — the configuration code appears on screen.

4. Configuration import

Open WireGuard and tap the round blue “+” button in the bottom-right corner, then choose “Scan from QR code” in the menu. The first time, Android asks for camera access — allow it. Point the camera at the QR code shown in the dashboard on the computer screen: it is read automatically, nothing else to tap.

5. Connection

The app asks for a tunnel name — give it a clear one, the country for example, and tap “Create tunnel”. The tunnel appears in the list on the WireGuard main screen: its name on the left, a switch on the right. Turn the switch on — Android asks once for permission to set up a VPN, tap “OK”. When connected, a key icon appears in the status bar; turn the same switch off to disconnect. Add a few servers this way so countries can be switched right in the app.

To avoid picking servers blindly, use our Radar service — radar.rvpn.online: it shows which servers are up right now and how fast they respond (sign in with your VPN login and password).

If something does not work out, message our online consultant — the turquoise rocket icon in the bottom-right corner. We will help you and answer your questions.
