1. Download
At the bottom of your dashboard find the “Useful links” block and, under Windows, click “Download WireGuard” — an archive with the WireGuard client downloads. If the link does not open, use the mirrors next to it — Europe, USA and Yandex.Disk.
|
2. Software installation
Unpack the downloaded archive with any archiver. Inside there is the wireguard-installer.exe installer — run it and go through the setup, leaving all options at their defaults. If it does not start or cannot download WireGuard, install the package from the wg folder instead: amd64 for regular 64-bit Windows, arm64 for ARM computers, x86 for 32-bit Windows.
|
3. Select country
In the dashboard open the “Connect to server” block, expand the region you need and press “Connect” under a country flag — the server is activated and moves to “Current connections”. Activate several servers at once: switching between ready tunnels is faster than coming back to the dashboard.
|
4. Download config files
Every activated server has a “Config file” button — it downloads the .conf configuration file for a computer (the “QR-Code” button next to it is for phones). Download the files for every server you activated.
|
5. Configuration import
Open WireGuard and click “Add Tunnel” in the bottom-left corner. In the dialog pick the configuration files you downloaded — all of them at once if you like. The tunnels appear in the list on the left.
|
6. Connection
Select a tunnel in the list and press “Activate” — the status changes to Active and Windows shows a connection notification. Disconnecting and switching countries is the same button (“Deactivate”) on the tunnel you need.
To avoid picking servers blindly, use our Radar service — radar.rvpn.online: it shows which servers are up right now and how fast they respond (sign in with your VPN login and password).
